The Park
Sutter Park’s central park is the community’s geographic and social heart. Classically designed, the park includes an expansive recessed lawn area that invites you to play catch or throw a Frisbee, while shade trees with built-in seating provide a canopy for impromptu get-togethers.
Gardens with private hedges and roses frame the park, reminiscent of the gardens that defined this part of town over 100 years ago, and new sculptures by prominent local artists add to its culture and character. The park’s play area welcomes the community’s future generations.
The sculptures that embellish the park's rolling lawns are crafted by local artists and the picnic tables have been re-purposed from trees removed from the site to reflect the area's cultural and natural origins. A Camellia bush that adorned the original Sutter Hospital site in 1937 has been re-planted to call back to the site's heritage.
The Triangle
The Triangle is your community hub, featuring a post office and convenient retail services within biking or walking distance of your home! This will include a coffee shop, shopping and other services, and live/work units with creative spaces on the ground floor.
Healthy Living
Residents of each of our Sutter Park neighborhoods will enjoy access to natural spaces beyond the central park, including pocket parks, garden paseos, and the cottage green. The parks encourage, a healthy, more active life, enriching the wellbeing of your whole family.
